Evelyn uses painting, photography, and printmaking, when creating her work. The work explores narratives in landscape, history and folklore, as well as her own connections. There is a visual tension between reality and the surreal as she combines personal transformation, memory, symbolism, and time within the physical context of her local environment. Evelyn Harvey received a B.F.A. in painting from Pratt Institute and M.F.A. in painting from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
